Accepting or Rejecting

You can Reject the Rain... because you are on your way to or from work.. and its cold, and your suit will get wet. Your waiting for your bus. You stare at the strange person running around in the rain grinning from ear to ear

or

You can Accept the Rain. Rejoice in its glory. Feel refreshed and more free than you've ever felt in your life.
As it drips over your face you can ignore the stares of the soulless drones, drained of their colour and freedom

This is partly inspired by when I once met a woman at a 3 day rave in Melbourne. It was pouring down rain and I was sitting in a video tent, watching Albert Hoffmann explain his first ever acid trip, on a very similar plane of thought as him. She was maybe in her mid 30s, perhaps older... she was a close talker, leaning right in to my face to talk to me. Probably to speak quietly and not interrupt the movies... but it was slightly unnerving. She explained to me how she embraces the rain... and her and her friend were running around dancing in the rain and letting it drip all over her face with a giant smile.
She also told me about how they celebrated the anniversary of the discovery of LSD while she was in London... They were colourful happy people playing in the middle of a park surrounded by miserable businessmen and bystanders with no idea of the happiness they were experiencing.
I never saw that woman again, just another random at a rave, one of the hundreds I've introduced myself to in my travels. One always sticks in my mind for impressing me in some way. She was one of them
